Salmon is one of the most popular bluefish in the world.
This is because, in addition to being delicious, it is rich in nutrients and healthy fats and numerous other properties that make it very healthy. Do you want to know how good salmon is for you?
Salmon is an excellent source of high-quality protein, essential for the body’s development.
As you may already know, it is also one of the best dietary sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which have heart health benefits, as they help lower blood triglycerides and cholesterol levels. In addition, omega-3 also supports brain function and can improve skin health and appearance.
Salmon is also rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B12 and vitamin D, selenium (essential for the immune system and thyroid health), and potassium.

The first thing we will do is preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Meanwhile, we will squeeze the lemon and grate the peel.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped garlic, salt and pepper. Stir well, until we have an emulsion.
We arrange the salmon fillets in a bowl or on aluminum foil and, with a cooking brush, spread the mixture of oil and lemon well on both sides. We then place them directly on the already hot grill. The magic begins!
Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the grilled salmon is “sealed” (looks opaque) on both sides and comes off easily with a fork.
Avoid flipping the salmon too often as this could cause it to crumble. Instead, ideally wait for one side to cook before turning it over.
We highly recommend leaving the salmon “mi cuit,” that is, leaving the center half raw, ensuring it is very juicy.
But if you prefer your salmon more cooked, no problem! You can leave it a few more minutes. Of course, you should monitor the time well so that it stays juicy and does not dry too much.
Once the salmon is cooked to our liking, we remove the fillets from the grill and place them on dishes.
The final touch: cover the salmon fillets with the lemon sauce and sprinkle the chopped coriander on top. We can use lemon slices for decoration.
We serve the salmon immediately and accompany it with our favorite garnish, such as basmati rice, a lettuce and tomato salad or grilled vegetables. Bon appétit!
One of the keys to this recipe is the lemon sauce that accompanies the salmon and gives it that fresh, delicious touch. And you must be wondering how this lemon sauce is prepared.
Well, some people just squeeze a lemon and pour the juice over the salmon fillets along with some spices, such as black pepper, coriander or dill. But if you are looking for something a little more elaborate, this lemon sauce is very easy to prepare and we know you will love it.
In a small bowl, mix a 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well until the sauce is smooth.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
This lemon sauce can be used in other recipes, both fish and meat, for example, as a healthy alternative to mayonnaise.
Lemon sauce will help enhance the taste of any recipe.
